So when he got off work he could "go where ever"

that's kinda why I drive a lot of times, even though it's only a mile. never know when I'll have to go out to run an errand after work or pick up lunch for my department, and I won't necessarily want to delay each trip by 20 minutes, especially when any errands I'd have to run are in the opposite direction of home

I'm 3.5 miles from work, but when I don't feel like driving it (especially with gas prices going up) I just work from home.

The bus on way THERE gets full and I stand up so fatasses and kids (elementary school) can sit.
On way back the bus has like 2 passengers and moves quicker, too (15 min).
The bus is always clean and on way back the driver is cool as hell. We talk.
