How long is pizza good for if left out?

There is no time when it instantly goes bad. Bacteria grows exponentially. If the level is below your threshold, you'll be fine.

In other words, I'd give it a toast and chow down 🙂

Maybe, maybe not. The meat could get you sick for sure....chances are it wouldn't be life threatening or anything. Maybe just a belly ache or heartburn.

I've eaten 24 hour old pizza and I'm still kicking.

Granted, it was a dumb idea, but I had a project due in a few hours and didn't feel like sprinting to a dining center.

Nope, out on the table

my roommate set it in the garbage about 7 hours ago. It was ontop the cardboard box it came in. I"m eating it right now

tastes fine 🙂

lol...In the garbage just might be past my limits. In any case I'd have heated it first. 😛

Call 911, dude. Now.

I've eaten pizza (just regular cheese) that has been sitting out for a day and a half in my dorm room and it tasted fine after nuking it in the microwave. I don't know about the whole garbage thing though.

Whatever. It can't possibly be worse than what happened to it before it was delivered

I used to work in the Culinary Arts field, and I can help you answer this question. I will give you a clue to answering your question. If food is left out for more than 2 hours, it is already growing harmful bacteria. Now, you say the pizza was left out for 20 hours. I think you can answer your question now. 😉

Why can't you just microwave it or put it in a stove?

The question is, is it enough to make you sick or kill you?

I think not!
