How long have you ever been sore for?

I haven't done any intense ab exercises in probably close to a year (for fear that it would make my stomach look even bigger heh), and decided, for some reason... to do a bunch 2 weeks ago.. and my abs are still sore. :'(

When I got rhabdomyolysis, my whole body was extremely sore for multiple weeks (probably about 2.5). Stupid water polo hit every body part and I couldn't escape the pain anywhere.

the first time I ever did intense abs, I swear I was sore for like a month.

I just re did them today after a 5 year hiatus, and I wasn't near as sore as the first time I did them when I was 15/16

I'm usually sore for about 4 days. I don't sleep enough, and I'm constantly moving and carrying shit at my job.

4 days maybe? I guess I just recover fast from even the most intense workouts.

Have you ever talked to anyone about this concern of yours of getting bigger? Muscle is your friend, more is always better.

Not. Looking at pics of body builders is evidence enough of this.

I think this guy would have a hard time keeping up with me out on the trails. Or roads. Or pool. Pretty much everywhere...

Just because he's large doesn't mean he can fight. Not saying that I can either. haha

I've been sore for 4-6 days on several occasions. Worst one was an ~8 hour 3-on-3 floor hockey tournament where my team made it to the finals. We played some 8 games total, all of which included crazy amounts of sprinting. The next day, my 15 minute walk to class took an agonizing 45 minutes. My legs literally buckled when I tried to walk on stairs, so I had to drag my ass around using the railing. I had to use the handicap bathroom stalls so I could hold onto the hand rails and lower myself onto the toilet. Other bad ones included my first heavy squat session after a month+ off (quads completely cramped up) and my first time doing lots of GHD sit-ups (sneezing and laughing became incredibly painful).

But it does mean that he can produce a great amount of force :) Does he have to know how to fight in that case? Plus he has motor development for hammer fists from all the skull crushers he does :p

Bruce Lee could develop all kinds of force and he's not a walking pot roast. He'd destroy that freak in a minute, it he were alive that is.

Sorry for the thread derailment MJinZ. To answer your question: I've been sore for a few days, even after ultra distance running events. Two weeks seems like a long time for normal muscle soreness to me.

I think he would run away for fear of getting his muscles bruised and then rhabdomylosis which would kill his body building.

4 days tops but usually never. I only ache when I haven't trained for 5 days solid and hit squats heavy again = punishment
