Even though I have remote entry, I don't use it or carry around the fob since I don't want this happening to me:
About a year ago, I was coming out of this strip mall and saw a police cruiser next to a car that had crashed in a ditch. Apparently a few minutes earlier a guy had been running around the parking lot and holding a key set and fob in the air, clicking it as he went around the lot. Then as he got near this one car, the trunk opened, he closed it, jumped into the car, then sped off but not before losing control and sending the car into a ditch. This woman forgot her purse at some counter only to come back and see that someone had rummaged through it. The guy had stolen the keys, used the fob to find the car the keys worked in, then stole and crashed it.
Excessively paranoid? You bet.

But my old car got me use to keyed entry so it's no big deal for me.
