I'd say there is a 99% chance it is safe. Then there is a 1% chance you'll have intestinal troubles. Not worth it in my opinon, but lots of people do it all the time.

Now for the training, young dadeef. Pizza = expensive. Dadeef = no money. Solution: ramen noodles. 10 cents per meal will fix the no money and hungry issue very quickly. If you look carefully enough, you'll likely find that 10 cents lying on the ground on your way to the store.

Did it this weekend. Papa John's Chicken Alfredo Pizza is my weakness. It neither fills me up nor gets old. Every bite is an adventure.

ramen noodles have too much sodium/phenophaline carboxilacetate(you know what I mean). the ramen diet isnt good for me because im an amatuer bodybuilder AKA (meathead).

I'd imagine a food with as many extra calories, and also as unhealthy as pizza wouldn't be good for you either.

but i dont eat it everyday. I eat pizza like 3 times a year, I just have some left over(pizza is a good source of carbohydrates, essential for weightlifting). Give me a break.

Why is pizza "unhealthy" to someone who doesn't need to avoid fat?

And when bulking, a bodybuilder needs all the calories he can get. Especially if he's a hard gainer.

Well when I think of a slice of greasy pepperoni pizza, it usually doesn't strike me as the healthiest of things.

My friends brother is an amateur body builder, and I know he has extreme control over his diet, even in the bulking phase in which I've seen him eat a lot of pastas and stuff, but never pizza.

I don't know, I guess I figured if you really needed the calories during a bulking phase, there'd be much better alternatives then pizza.

It's only unhealthy if you need to lose weight or you eat it too often. Other than that it's pretty healthy food. It's probably a lot better for you than most fast food places (though if I'm wrong I'm sure Amused will correct me:))

Just don't eat the whole pie. Eaten in moderation Pizza isn't unhealthy at all. BTW, the diet of a Body Builder is not one that most people should look to emulate. I lift and am pretty buffed but I don't consider my self any kind of Body Builder and I wouldn't want to be, especially if I had to adhere to their strict diet.

:p

You're correct. Pizza, in moderation, is very good for you. Especially if loaded with veggies and lower fat meats.

Just don't eat the whole pie. Eaten in moderation Pizza isn't unhealthy at all.

When I originally made the comment, I didn't know how often this guy ate pizza; I was assuming it was around once every 3 weeks or more frequent, which I think would probably have a negative effect on a body builders routine.

And relatively, its not unhealthy at all compared to fast food places like you said, but when seeing how strict my friends brothers diet is, I guess I just couldn't see him sticking in some pizza that often.

Hmm. actually my comments weren't aboiut how good it was for the diet of a Body Builder but how health Pizza was in general when eaten in moderation.

To be perfectly honest I rarely eat Pizza because it would be too difficult for me to eat in moderation;)

If you put pizza in the fridge without tupperware or rubbermade, it dries out. Leaving it out of refridgeration keeps it from getting dehydrated at least. ;)

Ah alright.

And you don't have to tell me about pizza. It's amazing how the taste of good pizza never gets old even after working in a pizzeria for 4 years. :D
