Almost immediately. But it didn't use to be that way. Maybe there is one advantage to getting older....

I am almost instantly awake. It is strange and this would always really bug my ex-girlfriend, because she took so long to wake up but I'd be jumping around at 7am. I don't know when it started but even without work or school I am still an early bird. I haven't woke up past 10am in years.

If I shower first thing, I'm usually good after soaking for about ten minutes. Otherwise it could take up to thirty minutes before I feel real good.

depending on the method of waking up (ie, somebody shaking me awake v. naturally waking up) not more than 5 minutes. However, I need a full 30-45 minutes of "boot up time" before i can go to the gym in the morning.

About a minute probably... unless my senses are confused to the point where I have no sense of time when I wake up... and in that case... I have no idea.

So ask Ladybuggy :p

I don't wake up until 9-9:30, so I feel well-rested and alert when I wake up. I woke up at 7 today and I felt tired, but not unable to function properly.

Yeah, depends on how I'm woken up and if I was drinking the night before...usually, probably 15-30 seconds. phone call at 9AM after a night of hard drinking...I won't remember a thing from the conversation, upwards of a few minutes.

Same here. I actually could not tell you the sound of my alarm clock, when I get up I just turn it off. When I hop into the shower I'm still kinda grogy and lose concept of time. After shower I'm mostly awake.

I do not wake up gradually. When I wake up, I am awake! But, I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime.

Maybe it's my OCD, but my brain is ON when I wake up.

depends how long i have been sleeping and how im woken up

if i am woken up from a nap i likely wont know where i am or what day it is for a few minutes. first 30 sec are usually full on freakout.

otoh if i wake up naturally after a full nights rest, im good in 30s
