How long does Hummus last in fridge?

Have a bowl of Josephs Hummus I got at the store. How long does this stuff last. Doesn't really say on the package..

We had a thing of hummus in the fridge for a while and it did have an "expiration date" on it, but we continued eating it for a while afterwards and it was fine.

If you've already opened it I'd say you have up to a year... maybe 18 months. Unopened, think Twinkie... probably keeps forever. And don't worry... it's supposed to smell that way. No worries.

In my experience it doesn't last more than a couple weeks once opened... it tends to get moldy.

Here is how I figure it out.

Find out when it was made, and how many days it was from then to now. Take that number and its good for negative that many days.
