I think you are the epitome of worthless and should seriously consider suicide.

At least have the balls to quit.

I agree. What you are doing is really shitty. I hope this fucks up your chance at a new job.

At first I thought you were just in a crummy spot. There are plenty of people with jobs where there's a lot of downtime and lack of productivity. However, after reading your updates, I have come to the conclusion that you are a lazy mofo. You already have an assignment on your lap. Please finish it before you complain. You have no room to talk.

I believe OP is on vaca for a parody thread today. I hope he doesn't have to do any work.

While it's somewhat entertaining to follow, I cannot respect people like this.

I'm pretty sure he's not looking for your respect, and thusly doesn't care if you respect him or not.

Also, I 100% endorse this thread. Is it too soon to nominate for ATOT Thread of the Year?

I haven't respected him for a looong time.

I thought that, these days, all a previous employer can really do is confirm that employee X worked from date A to date B OR that they are currently an employee in good standing with the company.

If this thread is legit (Which I peg the chance of at about 4%), it is awesome. Everyone complaining needs to lighten up and quit being such babies. If he's a young guy, doesn't need a reference whatsoever, and has an excuse for the gap in employment, what exactly are you all whining about? I think it's both funny and ballsy.

If he's happy being lazy and it's not going to hurt him, more power to him. You're going to complain because he's taking advantage of the poor, defenseless corporation he works for? Now if he complains about not being able to find another job due to this stunt, or his career gets sidetracked because of it, that's another story.

have you thought of putting a banner up over your cubicle/desk/whatever, with replaceable numbers o you can keep track of your work "strike?"

Of course, do not explain what the number means; just change the subject whenever anyone asks.

That's pretty much it. Of course, we all know how people will talk "off the record" so there really is no expectation that transgressions will not be spoken of. Proving it is the issue. It's when someone at company B speaks of an incident that was in a past job that suits get filed.

Here's what you do:

When they ask where the report is, keep saying you need that other form. Once they see you have it, say you'll have the report in by the end of the day.

Then start the report, and install a crapload of viruses/malware/spyware on your computer. Make sure the report gets destroyed/infected and submit a ticket to IT. After they fix it, you'll get a fresh lease of time.

That kind of invalidates the experiment though. The whole point is to see how long he can go without getting canned if he does nothing at all. Infecting the computer to crap is work, he's just doing a different kind of work than his real job to avoid getting fired.
