No..I was afraid to argue/fight/cry...i thought he'd make things worse for me. I was actually too freaked/scared to cry. But I sure cried a whole lot when I got home. Had to wait til the weekend to tell my mom...

Lucky the prosecutor at court took my points off....daddy would've been soooo pissed.

I'll have been driving for 7 years in June, and I haven't gotten a ticket yet...which I consider a miracle.

I've been driving for about 10 years and I haven't ever gotten a ticket and I've never been in an accident. (Never even been pulled over.)

EDIT: It was a whole $7.00 to add me to my boyfriend's insurance when I moved here to Virginia. :D

I don't know, it's been a year since I got my license and I haven't gotten pulled over yet. I had a state patrol turn on his cherries and tap the brakes but he never pulled me over....

Yeah, pack driving is the way to go.

Incidentally, I got a registration ticket (not a moving violation) a few months after I got my license. I got my first speeding ticket in VA on a trip to Myrtle Beach, about a year after I got my license. I have gotten speeding tickets subsequently in Pennsylvania and Illinois, but have yet to get one in my home state, or in Chicago. I still don't know how I haven't gotten one in Chicago; I have never driven faster or more dangerously anywhere else. Generally, not by choice, though; driving crazy is the name of the game in Chicago.

Thats just silly, why would it go UP to add someone with that good of a record? Mine went down when I added my then GF\now wife, and her driving record wasn't as nice as yours

I got pulled over for passing a cop. He let me sweat it out for a while then let me go. I asked a bunch of cops and they all said there is no such law. Stupid Port Authority cops go on power trips. He was going like 20mph below the limit and everyone was afraid to drive passed him, so I turned to the right lane and just drove by staying under the limit.

And he didn't have flashers or sirens going, he was just driving normally...

Only ticket I've gotten was a BS speeding ticket... I should have asked to see the radar gun. Exactly 40 in a 25... yeah, right... more like 35 and the f-tard cop needed pts for his quota so he pulls over first car anywhere close to 40. That is the one and only time in my 8 years driving. It took my 6yrs to get it. And it was in my hometown... like I would caught speeding in my hometown??

I didn't know the cop... he looked like an @$$ out-of-towner.

haven't gotten one yet.

I've been driving other peoples cars for about 3 years now (I am 20), but have yet to be able to afford insurance for my own car.

Got my first ticket when I was 15 (only had a learners permit)... lying cop said I was going 88 in a 70... loser.
