how long did it take to get over your first love?

Years. I was young though. Met her at 14, and held a flame till about 19 or so. We started talking again when I was 24, but now she's married with 2 kids.
 
love? i dunno if i ever fell in love... sure i told them i loved them but love? ummm not yet... i am still young.
 
marrying my first in a few months... whether that's good or bad... that's up to you strangers on the Internet who know nothing about us. 😉

4 months . . . of weirdness. My first love was in middle school - and it's just horrible trying to get over things when you have to see each other in class . . .
 
Sadly in retrospect too long although she was my first and we did have a conection at first sight, I still think about her 17 yrs later, only time I've been in love head over heals. oh damn that hurt for so long.
and that Rolling Stones song Angie doesn't help as that was her name.:brokenheart:
