A loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

Got a seemingly good one last May, and I think that I'm finally over the ex.

From '97.

I'd say a year for the most part. After that, there were still times I missed being with her but I dont' think it was holding me back anymore. I do still think about her occasionally but I've dated and had other relationships since then.

I don't believe you ever really get over someone you've loved.... There's always a part of them with you. Sure you learn to live your life, to move on, but they're always there, somewhere...

One good hidden turn down did it. First love, broken up by stepmom, tried to get back with her, makes up BS excuse. Damn.

I split up with my first (and to date only) true love over 8 years ago and it still hurts, I still miss her and dream about her, to date it is the only regret of my life, I split up with her because of her mother being too controlling and me being too young to realise what I'd got.

I've had many relationships since including a few long ones but I never have and probably never will get over Hayley :(

I guess I am psychotic, but I still have fond memories about girls I dated as far back as 5th grade. I'm 33 now.

From the woman I thought I was going to marry, it took about 6 months... Then I found out she went lesbian. We had a quick relationship though, it lasted all of a month but it was just one of those things that dont come along everyday. I vowed to not give my feelings to another woman ever again... I made one girl cry because of it, then I met my wife. It's been almost a year since we got married, and 5 years since we started dating.. Life is amazing sometimes. You find what you want when you're not looking for it.
