Well we got it.

We got the rare mazdaspeed version of it with twin turbos and 420 HP at the wheels. It smokes them all the way through third. The ultimate sleeper! 😉

My MPV was the biggest mistake.

About a month after buying it:

Me: I just had the car in shop and it cost $2,600
Friend: Geez, $2,600 is a lot. you crashed already?
Me: The transmission went out.

Yeah that sucks, but I guess could happen on a lot of vehicles. I will see how it is and decide before the 100k powertrain runs out if we'll keep it or not!

what kinda warranty did you get with the car?
Bumper to bumper to 50k or 4 years (or is it five; doens't matter, ad we'll work up the miles fast), and then from 50 to 62k a warranty that falls between bumper to bumper and powertrain, and then after 62k up to 100k/8 years (which would be 2012) a powertrain-only.

Bought the wife a 2005 MPV a little over a year ago. It has been a fantastic purchase. Nothing better to haul the Mrs. Voo and the Little Voos around town in.

Nice ride that has been to Gulf Shores, Myrtle Beach, Orlando, Daytona, St. Augustine and more.

Very good choice. 🙂
