I'm delighted to report that I pushed my Hercules 3D Prophet II MX to the limits today. With a little active cooling (fan) I was able to push this little gem to 220 core and 210 memory with total stability. 3Dmark 2000 score was 5549.
What an incredible card!!! :):):)

Prophet 2 MX: 210/210.
I have a Pentium fan screwed to the heatsink.
The ram gets really warm so I am going to add another (gamma) fan to it.

ibbilbo what kind of CPU you got in your system 1100mhz or higher? I have my OEM Prophet MX clocked at 220/210 and get around 4700 on 3dmark ....this is on an Athon @ 787mhz

232 core and 222 memory <--- Hercules Prophet 2 MX (OEM) NO FANS!!!

223 memory has one different colored pixel appear every few seconds.

Core will probably get cooler with a fan attached.

Spre ,download a overclocking Utilities program from here click here this allows you to overclock your card, make sure you use standard Nvidia reference drivers.Note it`s under the utilities section & for Win95/98.

Also I believe(not sure on this)that the Hercules software allows overclocking from its software so just move the slide bar to a faster memory/ram setting for overclocking,if you don`t have this just install the above software ,but make sure you uninstall the hercules drivers/software before you install Nvidia drivers etc.

my start button wigs out (corrupt tex) with any overclock, but I'm happy with 175/190 with a duron 650 (not o/c at this time) and pull 4400 on 3dmark. It's a V7100 pure 32mb. This card rocks hard for what it cost!

Having great luck with my Hercules MX cards overclocked core 200/memory 220 with no cooling. Sounds like people aren't having much success getting higher overclocks with cooling anyway. Of course, I got the 5.5ns memory which probably makes a difference.

3D Mark 2000 (default settings) scores of 5234 on my Duron 600@900 ... not bad (better than DDR scores).

I have an EVGA card and I got it up to 190/180. I could probably get it higher but I haven't tried yet. I attatched a cheap little 486 fan to the heatsink.

Not bad for a card I got for $110. :)

Just done a quick overclock seems okay at 190 core - 180 mem but get a few corrupted pixels I`m sure it will go higher since it passed Stability test(3dmark2000)anyway at 190 core & 177 mem there is no corrupted pixels, being I`m only using standard heatsink, will try higher clocking later when I`ve better cooling, don`t mind using 190 core 177mem for now.

I got my Duron 700 running 1036 with Asus V7100 at 220/210.
128MB PC66@109 CAS2.
My default 3DMark2000 score is 5480 (1024x768x16)

I wonder if this score is acceptable.
I often see those people using Duron 700 with GTS can get well above 6000+ (around 6500). How could this be ?
I thought MX when overclocked 220/210 should be about equal to GTS performance. Can anyone advise ?
It seems like 3DMark2000 loves the real GTS so much that it will just shoot your score up, no matter what the processor speed is.

Tried a little higher anyway now at 205 core & still at 177 mem(still rock solid with no corrupted pixels),definetly need cooling for the memory to go higher without getting corrupted pixels on screen.

Yeah, the hercules Prophet 2 MX seem to overclock very high. It's weird that many people with the OEM versions of the hercules card can bring their 7 ns ram to 210+.
