so i sigend up for the sero plan, have an a920. ive been hung up on by the automated customer service number several times, there is massive lag in text messaging, calls are dropped, phone sometimes doesnt ring when you call it, etc...i just got it 2 weeks ago too. anyone know how hard this will be? i want a full refund(although i know thats unlikely) so what do you think sprint will do if i tell them i want out?

not to hard. call them up and say you want out. then pay a small fee usually around $250

edit: don't you have a 30 day gurentee? every time i got a new provider they give you 30 days to cancel the contract. if not then y ou are screwed!

Good luck in dealing with Sprint. They suck when it comes to billing issues. I ported my number to Verizon after almost 6 years. I had been out of my contract for 2-3 months when I got a nice bill with an early termination fee included. I called them and was nice about getting them to fix the mistake, but it took them 3 cycles to get that fee removed. I refused to pay a cent until they gave me an accurate bill w/o late fees, etc. See...I wanted the fee removed since it was not legitimate and I refused to pay a bill that was overly inflated as it would be harder to get misc taxes tc removed afterwards. Instead, they started adding late fees and sent it to collections. We finally got it straight, though, but ti took numerous calls to customer service as well as dealing with the collection agency calls. Oh...and since I had ported the cell number...guess what number the collection agency used when they tried to collect?

I will never go back to Sprint again.

Its not that high, when I canceled sprint and went to sero, i had to pay 150 for terminate the contract.

You should be able to get your money back, sprint retentions is very good. Although if you are having that many problems, it sounds like some other problem and you might want a support ticket, I had a similar problem with text and voicemails, once they looked into, it has worked flawlessly.

There is some talk about using your roaming time excessively.

It makes sense as when you roam the carrier usually offers free roaming now, but they must pay the roaming carrier the difference (usually people roam infrequently)...

if you are roaming more than you are paying each month they will terminate you. If they do this, they will still attempt to bill you a cancellation.

At this point, tell them "grab your ankles".
