None of your survey choices really reflect my thoughts. I'm against wastefulness for numerous reasons. I'm not so much specifically "green"(though it is a variable) as I am against waste.

I don't go out of my way to be as eco friendly as possible in everything I do, but I'm mindful of turning off computers/TVs/lights when not in use. That's as much an economic decision as an environment decision, since I have no desire to pay for electricity I'm not actually using.

I drive a Mazda 3 instead of the Jeep I used to have though we still own one.

I tend to turn off lights etc, when not in use, but still run my main computer 24/7.

We have a large recycling bin.

I do it mostly to save on cash a bit, but I still just do some things that probably use power a bit.

Energy conscious sure. I'd get an EV and run my entire house of solar if the price were reasonable. If only to give a big middle finger to the oil companies and the government run power company.

However, don't give a rat's ass about climate change/global warming/whatever buzzword they're calling it now.

Conveniently green now, getting greener the more I age.

Reusable shopping bags, turn off lights/electronics when in use. Recycle 90% of the time. Plan on using disposable diapers for the baby. Drive a Subaru . .. oh my, I'm turning crunchy. . .

I do my best, I wont drive around unneededly, and I try to avoid using stuff like plastic bags or other stuff that generates lot of trash, especially plastic trash. If I put something in a zip lock or something I try to reuse the bag and if it's not dirty I'll recycle it. Plastic is the worse as it takes 100's of years to decompose.

I also try to use electricity more than gas. In winter I'll run a small space heater if I'm cold instead of warming up the whole house. Though at same time I'm not willing to go all electric since it costs way too much.

Eventually I'd like to go wind or solar for power, and at that point I'd probably look at heating with electricity and just use gas for when I'm low on battery power. Our electricity comes from hydro electric dams though so it's fairly green. Not sure if it would be considered renewable (those streams will run out eventually) but probably the next best thing. Way better than spewing out tons of CO and CO2 into the atmosphere.

I would actually love an electric car, though I just can't justify the cost of a new car, when I can get a used car for 5k. So until there are enough electric cars for a used market to build up I probably wont get one.

I liked to think I tried a lot, but I really don't. Collectively there's no way the world is going to grow a conscience to be green. Make more money + Use more energy = WIN.

We drive 45 MPG cars, but I used to fly a 25 GPH plane "for fun". My carbon footprint is huge.

Unless your motorcycle has a cat or has insanely low smog emissions (for a motorcycle, which they usually don't...) then you're not that green. Your toyota camry is probably a lot better via smog emissions. (Which are a huge problem for the environment)

I try to be as green as I can. Unfortunately, I drive my car a lot because I do go places and do things. However, I try to rideshare whenever possible to save money but also so that I don't waste resources on just me. (HOV lane benefits too) I turn off everything when I am done using it or at least put it so sleep. I recycle everything that I can and break down all the boxes to take less space and be more efficient with my recycling. (It's important) When I start paying for my own electricity, I'll contribute to a renewable/more-environmentally-friendly energy program that my electric company provides, if possible. Seattle had that but I didn't pay my electricity and so I didn't have the option. I would like to get solar panels but that requires about $40k that I don't have. (And a home or some kind of permanent residence where I could put them) I would like to get an electric car and have all its power come from solar but that's also out of my budget. (And will be for some time since it would likely make more sense for me to just buy $120k in solar panels to offset pollution than buy a $120k electric car)

Outside of that... not sure. I do use a lot of hot water unfortunately. Something I will cut back on eventually but hot showers are like a sanctuary for me to rest and ponder in. A lot of it just has to do with the sound of the shower. For a long time I considered just getting a pump, a way to collect the water efficiently, and a shower head and running the mechanism in the shower. The sound is weirdly great to my ears. And I think it's just because I associate it so heavily with it being a quiet place for me to think in and not worry about disturbances.
