Clinton sent prisoners off to Egypt where they were really tortured and in some cases killed.

Gitmo may suck, but it is 100 times better than that option.

Perhaps we should wait till Obama comes up with his answer and the talk about this subject. We already know that he is restarting the tribunals after making a big deal about stopping them.

The Bush Administration also tortured people to death, what's your point? Bad behavior does not excuse bad behavior.

It has already been mentioned repeatedly that the tribunals he is restarting will be much different than the ones under Bush. A tribunal is not unjust just because it's a tribunal, the Bush ones were a mockery of justice because they allowed evidence obtained through torture, etc. I don't think the details of Obama's tribunals are out yet, but the administration has said they will have FAR more protections for the defendant then Bush's kangaroo courts.
