150 mph as the driver
glad you still with us.
It was a very long time ago, and I didn't get caught.

I did take my WRX up to about 120 mph earlier this year... briefly on an empty rural stretch of freeway, just topped out 4th just to see what it could do. There was plenty of room left to go, but I was satisfied.
I've gotten old and drive pretty civil these days for the most part. Haven't gotten a ticket in years... I'm pretty glad I'm still here too, and would like to keep it that way.

~130-140 in my old '83 Mustang, about 10 years ago. That car ran 12.8@109mph in the 1/4 back then too on straight motor (no N20 or supercharging). Fun times..

That is the best way...as soon as this motor gets past its time, out it comes and in goes a FMS 347 stroker. I'll throw on my GT40X heads and intake, a good cam, and some beefier injectors and be good to go.. :D All motor...no power adders.. :)

Heh.. mine was carbureted. Stock bore/stroke 302 out of an '88, stock T5 tranny, 4.11 gears, 26x12.5 M/T Sportsman Pro tires, Dart Windsor 2.02/1.6 heads with some home portwork and .010 shaved off the deck, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake w/700cfm (0-4778) carb, 1.75" primary full-length headers into 2.5" exhaust w/turn downs before rear axle. Cam was an Erson Super Shops special custom ground hyd roller with specs as follows:

.544" lift int/ex
304/310 degrees adv. duration
234/242 degrees @ 0.050
110 lobe center

installed 4 degrees retarded (which not only allowed everything to fit clearance-wise, it shifted the power band up in the rpm range and worked with the heads/intake/carb/headers).

I wish I had the money to do it right; I could have gotten that car into the 11s easily then.
