Guys that put thousands of dollars and hours of labour into a vehicle(which is what you'd need to make a 600 go 190mph), don't run from the cops. Ever. :)

I actually have a video to disprove that - and it's a gixxer doing 190 or something close.... But other than that, I agree with you. The guy who posted here was all BS.

The turbo 600 that does wheelies into 5th? :) Such a sweet video.

quite frankly i could careless if you belive me or not....i posted what my bike said. speedo goes to 180 and it was pegged at that. My bike IS NOT stock

i know speedo's are not acurate at that speed but im not sure + or - how off it is. the bike was regeared for more TOP END at that time and i have since then regeared for more bottom end..who needs to go that fast.

but im happy you get your jollies off trying to prove someone wrong when you were not there....and most likly have no knowledge to bikes

110mph in my 2000 Civic...I don't think it could go much faster than that... :) Must be the thin air from the altitude up here in Denver...

On the subject of speeding tickets, last speeding ticket was driving 46 in a 35. Of course it was at the bottom of the hill where they set up the speed trap. Cost me $110 and 2 points :disgust:
I guess it must have been end of the quarter and cops were trying to meet their quota

I don't see why it's not believable for people to do these speeds.
I used to have a little 124hp 98 Saturn SC2 that in 99 I did 125mph for quite a good bit of an hour. That was the most expensive speeding ticket I ever got. Long story anyways, will never do something that stupid again.
Back in 90 I did about 135 in my parent's 88 Accord but that was like get it up there for a few seconds and drop back down to a more reasonable speed.

It's not impossible for people to do the speeds they are claiming. We all do something stupid from time to time.
Anyways I wouldn't mind dropping a Yugo off a cliff to see how fast it goes. Anyone want to donate one? :D :p

Driving - fastest in fastest car - maybe like 230 KPH in a mercedes 190 on the autobahn in Austria

Driving - fastest in slowest car - 95 MPH in my fathers 1963 Nash Rambler convertible. Broke the speedometer. A few days later it threw a rod when he was driving it. He was somewhat suspicious. Still sitting decades later, the car that is, not me.

Your grammar alone makes it doubtable. And I know about bikes. Re-gearing a motorcycle for 30+mph extra is doubtable. You would have to re=wrok the whole bike to get tha extra out of it. I am not saying you didn't do it but I can understand their scepticizm.

BTW, neigther of which are mine and I sure as hell wasn't driving the 53 chevy.

EDIT: Is there anyone else here who thinks that drag racing at these speeds seems a bit too much like premature ejaculation. You just start having fun and the whole thing is over already.

gearing is not the only thing done to the bike....the guy that had it before me did a few things to the motor....for sure i can hear the cam is not stock just.

as for gearing yes i do know it will not add HP but it can add more top end speed or more bottom end "pop" depending on the ratio you choose

You are commenting on someone's grammar, yet cannot spell?

WTF does spelling and grammar have to do with going fast anyway? I know a bunch of people, I'd classify as illiterate, yet have WAY fast cars and bike (mostly the bike crowd is borderline short bus in my downtown area).

Where'd you find open indian roads that were smooth enough for 100mph?

This is an idot question. The interstate isn't a video game. People die there. Put a friend into the ground because of speed and you'll understand.

But anyways, my old 280zx could raise some hell on some curvy back roads. How fast? Didn't matter, I impressed my now wife with my bad boy skillz.
