How far up from the floor is a towel bar supposed to be?

Get one wide enough or use two so that you don't have to fold the towels in half to fit. Then they won't stay wet for a long time - stinky/moldy

I finally checked mine. It's probably arbitrary as it's kinda random. Towel bar: 45 inches off the ground

Vanity ring towel: 19 inches from vanity.

I'm about to put sheetrock up in a new bathroom. I'm going to go on a few of the walls and install half inch plywood flush with the 2x4s so there's a solid wood wall behind the sheetrock. I'm so pissed at towel bars and toilet paper roll holders getting ripped off the wall in my house and struggling getting wall anchors to fix the problem.
