1280x800 is 3/2 of 1920x1200. Or 2/3, depending on how want to consider it. Still, I see your point. It's better to go with round factors when choosing a non-native resolution, so as to avoid as many "partial pixels"

as possible.
Alternatively, 1440x900 is exactly 3/4 of 1920x1200
