How does your boss get out of work?

My boss had his door closed and had a sign that said "DO NOT DISTURB" for about a week now and he always tells us when that sign is up he is not to be disturbed no matter what.

Today, one of my co-workers got the key to his office and said "ok, let's see what he's up to."

He wasn't in there. I guess he's been on vacation. Thought it was kinda funny, but at the same time.. a little frustrated.

I'm sure everyone's got some stories about how their boss takes off work.

my boss went on leave today, leaving my supervisor on duty until he comes back after the 4th. he tells people that his brother has caught a fever and he needs to go and take care of him. he and his brother own a gold mine. hence the fever

every couple of weeks my boss take off for some diferent city cause he has kids or a gf there...and "works" by calling us on his cell and checking that were still at work
