Seriously? prettiest dress? looking at her FB page she has a lot more "prettiest dresses." Maybe its a light dress because its HOT down there. "Another riot" you might just be delusional.

Perhaps some ballistic nylon pleats and dayglo orange high-vis shoulder and waist straps. The right person could break in to the fashion world and get a sweet payday from some wealthy benefactor(s) that doesn't want to get their hands dirty actually protesting.

From the people that live in BR, the true story of the picture:

Ok folks, now for the whole story. I live in BTR and what this doesn't tell you is that the Police here ALLOWED the protestors to completely block Airline HWY, (a major N-S highway through town) for a few hours so they could peacefully protest.As it got closer to night time the protestors were told that for their own safety they would have to move off the road and stay on the grassy parts than run along it. Because there are no sidewalks along Airline Hwy, once you step off the grass you are in the roadway.Airline has a 50 MPH sped limit so there was a danger that someone could get hit if they continued blocking the road.

The cops warned the protestors 3 TIMES via loudspeaker that they needed to move to and stay on the grassy parts for their own safety and if they crossed the white paint stripe that separates the grass from the roadway they would be immediately arrested. This woman stepped out into the roadway and started walking toward the line of cops and was immediately arrested.She was peaceful as were the cops that placed her under arrest. What is most telling is that of the 50 people arrested for demonstrating in Baton Rouge yesterday, 43 WERE FROM OUT OF TOWN. This photo was nothing more than trying to portray the big bad cops abusing the poor little protestor and totally misrepresents how peaceful both sides handle the protest. Another example of "you give me the picture and I'll create the story"

Personally I think people put too much emphasis on clothes. In EVERY situation.
You need to look in someones eyes if you really wanna know what they are about. You can get a lot of info there, info their clothing doesnt share.

This is a no win situation for the cops either way. Either they tell protesters to leave the road or they will be arrested, and then do nothing when they refuse to leave. Or arrest them in what seems to be an innocent protest. They look bad either way. They were warned, you can't just block the roads and interstates because you feel like it.
