How does this look for my new build?

I'm wanting to make the switch to Core2 as cheaply as possible. How does this look?

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115013

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128042

RAM:
http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=T6UX2GC5

The only thing I'm unsure of is the motherboard choice. It looks to be a good deal on sale but I've read there's a revision 3.3 instead of the 1.3 this is. Is that going to make a big difference? I want to keep the MB selection under $100 so if you can recommend anything else that will be able to upgrade to the quad cores once they drop in price I'd really appreciate it.

Also, do you think going 4 gigs is worth it? I'll be running XP until they get Vista working a LOT better but am thinking at the price the Super Talent is priced at I might as well just grab the 4 gigs now.

Thanks!

RAM is always tricky. It seems to have bottomed out at the moment, and in a bit people will be shifting to DDR3 production, so supply/demand for DDR2 may begin to change by the end of the year.
Prices for RAM are I think supposed to increase towards the end of summer/back to school season, so I would think now would be a good time to stock up on RAM if you plan on sticking with your current setup for a while.

Do some investigating into whether your mobo (and 1.3 vs 3.3) might be likely to support Penryn when it's released. That would be very useful in terms of future proofing the build, and making sure your DDR2 lasts a fair while (rather than having to buy a new mobo to get Penryn support, and then having to get DDR3).

But I wouldn't get 4GB right now, you can always see what prices do betwen now and August or so, and think when you might switch to Vista (if at all). Get 2GB and see how it goes, and then leave the 4GB option open, prices might not move too much for at least a month or two.

You should really get rev. 3.3 of the DS3 board. Rev 3.3 board supports quad-core. However, I would go against the DS3 altogether because I had bad experiences with it. The northbridge chipset heatsink is too small and there is no fan. This will cause it to overheat. I would spend about $60 more and get a better motherboard. I don't think that 4GB of RAM is worth it unless you plan on installing Vista 64-bit or XP-64bit. Vista 32-bit has the same memory addressing problem as XP-32 bit.

I would go with the rev 3.3 board, it can be had here . Just a little bit more, your other choices sound fine tho. That ram will do 800mhz.
