winnar!

Al Gore would ask how could anyone live without 3 30" lcds?

lesbian, strait, and hentai porn at the same time?

well with a button up man like gore its more likely bondage, strapon, and max hardcore:)

3 17" inch lcds at home, dell 1708fp. Very handy for software development.
I work from home, so its essential.

I previously had dual monitors but moved to a single 28" LCD. My old 19" LCD is being used to grab telemetry data in my sim cockpit.

Most of my office uses and is addicted to multi-monitors. My boss has 4 24" samsung widescreens, and 2 more samsung 22" widescreens on 2 PC's. He swears by it.

Most other folks use at least 2.

I tried, the second monitor goes unused. I am so used to task switching and flipping back and forth from doing so ever since it became possible in the mid-90's. I just can't do it. I'm one of a few. One of our CAD ladies also can't use more than one monitor. Weird because I would think moving between spec sheets and Autocad would become a pain after a while.

My coworker joked that I should ask IT for a second monitor. So I did. And I got one. Then he (and 30+ others) also asked, but were denied due to the huge demand. But I kept mine. Good times. Good times.

I tried it about 7 years ago and was amazed. But that elation quickly wore off and I'm perfectly fine with my 19" CRT at a high resolution!

At work I have 2x19" LCDs and it is extremely useful. At home, I have a single 20" WS LCD that previously was just fine, but now after getting used to the two at work, I sometimes find myself wishing I could move this damn window outta the way off the screen. :)

I think I'll end up getting a 24" WS LCD for home. At home, not doing development/actual work, I need a single, wide, large screen for games and movies.

I have dual 1908FP LCDs on my home PC. I used to have an additional 1901FP LCD on my home PC, and I used all three extensively. When I replaced the PC this summer, I "downgraded" to 2 monitors. Now I'm just finding it easier to use one monitor, rather than having two... now that I've seen what it was like with three LCDs, two seems to be so little that I'll just stick with one most of the time.

At work I just use my Latitude D830's built-in LCD. I had a 1908FP attached to it for a long time (via docking station), but finally decided that I could just get more done by using only the laptop's LCD at its highest resolution.

Just set up my second monitor, can't say I'm impressed. Doesn't seem to have too much of a use for it really.
