My Oral-B doesn't show metal either.. just put it on the plastic base and a green light should stay on.

I wouldn't put anything in my mouth that had "Oral" in its name. :roll:

Like the little guy in the fridge you never see.

There is a toothbrush troll that comes in the night...you don't want to really know how he charges it up though.

inductive charging is a waste of energy IMHO. Sure, it's marginally safer, but at those voltages it really doesn't matter. And it's a LOT less efficient.
