I've only had bad experiences with Comcast. I bought a package deal from them it was $80. Then I started getting bills for $120. I paid them, but contacted customer service and asked why I was being overcharged. I was told that I did not buy the package, I ordered all the channels individually and that costs more. I said "How did I do that when you can't even do that when you order from the website? You can only pick the package deals." And their response "We have nothing record in our system that indicates how you ordered your service. Since there is no way to know we have to assume you ordered indivdually."
So I cancelled, returned the shit to their office that week. Then they take $250 more from my credit card saying I didn't return the equipment and I had to pay for atleast another month of $120 service. I went into the store, thinking that may help. I talked to their manager at the store, brought in bills, etc, and after going over computer records, and taking all my receipts and records, she said "You overpaid, we owe you atleast $120 dollars, but I need my supervisors to look it over to verify the exact amount owed." Her supervisor called me and said the lady I talked to made a mistake and I owe even another $120 on my bill ontop of what I was already being overcharged. Of course they didn't send me a bill, they just took funds from my credit card without my approval and I disputed with my CC and I lost because all my evidence was lost (The comcast lady at the store took it)
So I think in the end, I paid about $500 for a month of cable. I will never have comcast again, no matter what. I'd rather go without.
