I bought the deluxe edition today and I was gonna give my friend my old copy of it... will there be any problem with that?

Eat me. I dropped my damn remote control and it hit the enter key

In that case I'm every so sorry, is your remote control doing better?

No, the back popped open and one battery rolled under the bed :(

I'll keep you updated on it's status.

the two keys are different, no problemo

each key is unique and autenticates when you try to play online

If you don't mind me inquiring, what brand of battery you used as well as the expiration dates. These suckers seem like little warriors so i think i'll pick up a pair on ebay as soon as you get back to me.

So could I go into the registry and change my key without having to uninstall/reinstall?

i think u have to reinstall to get the new key to work. clean the registry too.

sorta ot, but how do u guys use the anti aircraft guns. do you lead on your shots or aim straight at the damn plane? its damned hard to know if ur hitting anything. and once it becomes totally obvious at point blank range, that doesn't help much

Lead. Watch where the explosions happen, then lead by that much.

<---- A real PITA on AA.

Yeah, you can find and edit the key in the registry. I had to request a new key for my copy, I bought it here from another trader and about a month later started getting "CD Key in use errors". I emailed EA with a picture of the back of my CD case, they checked logs and found out someone else (I'm guessing via IP logs) was using my key (and my box was secure, no trojans here). They gave me a new one and I switched it out in the registry without reinstalling.

Whatever you do, don't download a program that claims to change your key for you. They're usually key-stealing programs, which is bad.

you can actually use the same CD key on multiple PCs you just cant play online with them at the same time or it you will get a duplicate CD key error of some sort and it wont let you play.

never EVER buy a game with cd key from a trader. too high a chance of being scammed. dunno how clever ea is now, but yea games used to just put the key in the registry. uninstall/reinstall shouldn't be too bad, if u can play online, u got broadband for the patches. and well ussually during installs they give u the option of retaining the settings/savegame files.

The AA fire explodes even if it's not a hit... it's called "flak". If you start shooting it before the plane comes over head and just keep shooting, you can move the explosions towards the path you are predicting the plane will take. You can usually count on one of two things... one, the person in the plane sees the flak and decides to take you out, or two, the person in the plane sees the flak but thinks they are cool enough to make it through... in either case, if you lead the flak a lot, then narrow in as the person gets closer, you will pretty much always do some heafty damage at the minimum. If they look like they are coming for you, unless they are really good, they might as well go ahead and select their spawn point.
