and this is why i have no idea why people go nuts over the fact that the ipod doesn't have an FM tuner while other mp3 players do.
Honestly I think it's just because people will find any reason to hate on iPods, but I digress. 😛

The FM feature would be nice occasionally, but not having it is hardly a deal killer for me.

Radio on an mp3 player is almost completely worthless to me. I'd rather they take a couple of dollars off the price, and remove the "feature".

www.theclassicalstation.org for me (89.7 FM here on the dial), No commercials 'cause it's wholly listener supported. Keeps the road rage away too....lol. Its either that or mp3 CD/DVDs.

I grew weary of Rock 92's 'Two Guys Named Chris' a while back. Bunch of the same old same old.....blech!

The only time I ever listen to FM is when my alarm goes off in the morning. I've got an ipod that sees permanent car duty.

Uncensored commercial free music from Sirius/XM > FM radio.
As far as I'm concerned, it beats MP3 because you have so many stations and music varieties to choose from that you are guaranteed to hear some cool music that's not in your mp3 collection.

I do like to listen to Bill Handel and John & Ken on KFI AM 640. They call out Dems and Reps on their shenanigans.

Out of curiosity, how many of those stations are run by Clear Channel?

I'm wondering that myself, at least one of them is, but they're all supposedly 'rival' stations.

MPR and The Current, FTMFW. But really, I never listened to a lot of radio because my tastes tend to not be even off the mainstream... I listen to rave and hardcore, shit you only hear at warehouse parties. There is NO radio station that satiates my musical desires.

When I'm back home in Colorado, I'll listen to KBCO, the only good station that I know of anymore (surprisingly, it is owned by Clear Channel). Other than that, I go with my iPod.
