Can't recall where I read about this - but somebody with terminal cancer actually did this - parachuted without a chute and slammed into the beach [I think it was an island...]. I've heard too many stories about people surviving 15k drops from the sky...

Personally - I'd want it to be in a manner where I didn't see it coming, quick, painless, and guaranteed.

Those stories don't actually happen. At least not often enough for there to be "stories" plural. I believe there is a documented case of a WWII paratrooper who survived a fall but I'm not sure if even that is well founded.

 
Yeah sleep here as well, I dont really care about when it happens, I just want it to be in my sleep, that way I wont know what happened anyway so no problem

Why do so many people want to croak in their sleep? I'd find that scary. Going to sleep one day with the expectation of waking up and then sleeping for an eternity. I'd rather face it (as long as its not too painful...)
