1. Good Beer
2. At least a litre of water.
3. Multi-vitamin
4. Eat burnt toast in the morning (carbon acts as a filter for the alcohol)

little late for that

well i've found drink water helps. also, i try to stay awake as long as possible and let the drunk effect wear out a bit before going to bed. i don't know why that helps but it seems to for me.

I was told you can't prevent one, and your body just has to get rid of it in its own timeframe.

I take a multi-vitamin, drink a ton of Gatorade/water, and take a few pepto. In the morning I take some more pepto, another vitamin, and then an aspirin or ibuprofen later. Nausea is typically the worst symptom I experience, so I've found the pepto is a godsend, and btw Chaser actually works. Very similar to how Pepto will help you -- the charcoal will grab toxins and send them out.

The multi-vitamin is for everything you pissed out, as is the water/Gatorade for hydration. I also find that sleep is VERY necessary. Nothing works better than a good amount of sleep.

Also, consider eating something slight before going to bed, and then something else in the morning to replenish your body's store of energy.

That is correct, but you can give your body the stuff it needs to help get rid of the alcohol. For instance, your body uses vitimins like potassium and quite a bit of water to get rid of the alcohol in your system.

A rule of thumb is your body can process 1 drink per hour

(yes, my spelling is terrible)

What you're drinking matters; impure liquors (super-cheap stuff, and Bacardi) will make you a lot more prone to it. Drink water, take a vitamin and a few aspirin before bed. If you drink enough alcohol, there's no avoiding that fuzzy feeling, though you can usually avoid the "kill me now, please" feeling and headache.

I like to quit drinking a couple hours before I go to bed. Then when my hangover starts I just pop a few advil and head off to bed. Wake up feeling fine in the morning.

1. your taste buds may discriminate between good and bad beer, but the rest of your body doesnt

4. activated carbon is a good filtering material per se, but what's the logic in CONSUMING the filter, especially AFTER you've already consumed the alcohol. furthermore, burnt toast (along with burnt-anything) is a source of benzo-a-pyrene--a carcinogen. good way to rack up that cancer risk

What ISN'T carcinogenic? My fvcking shoes are probably laced with mercury and a plethora of other carcinogens, as is our food supply, our water, and our air, so I really fvcking doubt some burnt toast is gonna have the guy shelling out millions to the Oncology Unit at Baylor.

You eat sushi or fish? Cancer for you!
Are you around chemicals or other materials? Cancer for you?
You just live your daily life? Cancer for you!

Hell, just about every male gets Prostate Cancer these days, what was the study that showed that like 60% of males autopsied after a certain age had it, whether it was hurting their health or not?
