1. your taste buds may discriminate between good and bad beer, but the rest of your body doesnt
4. activated carbon is a good filtering material per se, but what's the logic in CONSUMING the filter, especially AFTER you've already consumed the alcohol. furthermore, burnt toast (along with burnt-anything) is a source of benzo-a-pyrene--a carcinogen. good way to rack up that cancer risk
