How do you peel a banana?

I peel from the stem side and sometimes it fails and I end up with mushy tip but then I just sorta spit that end out

HEre's another question: Do you completely peel your banana before eating it or do it peel and eat in repeated cycles until it is done?

I always completely peel before eating but I notice most people peel and eat in progressive steps

It really is the best method. No muck on your fingernails. It ALWAYS opens cleanly. And you can either eat the seed or bite off that piece and spit it out. Now to mention the stem makes a good handle when you get down to the nitty gritty.

I break it in half.

Peeling from the nonstem side is assuming that the bananas are fully to over ripened. I need mine a little green, hence why i break the banana in half.

I hurl the banana at the ground as hard as I can. This generally splits the skin, allowing me to suck out the juicy innards. This is the same method I use to eat squirrels.

Some people just do. There were some people at my house once that were telling me "oh, it's so much easier to peel from the the other end." All proud like they knew some kind of fruit hack. I tried it a few times and went right back to the stem side. It's idiotic.

I pinch the stem side then tear from that side. I think I've seen it, but I don't 'get' why you would start from the other side. The stem is just asking to be pulled.
