For regular bananas I peel from the stem side. I think you're supposed to go from the other end with the little baby bananas (whatever they're called).

Why does this matter? Well the lilliputians started a war over less I guess.

Some people just do. There were some people at my house once that were telling me "oh, it's so much easier to peel from the the other end." All proud like they knew some kind of fruit hack. I tried it a few times and went right back to the stem side. It's idiotic.

I pinch the bottom and peel from there, like monkeys. Sometimes the stem side doesn't "crack" open and you end up mushing the end.

yea you just pop open the little air pocket at the bottom of the naner and go to town. I haven't peel a banana from the stem side in a long time. It was always a frustrating experience.

i bite the stem end and easily peel it that way, i've done this since i was 4. same way i peel oranges, by biting into the skin, i dont have nails ever so thats my method.

And I always score the banana with my fingernail before peeling just to make sure it will open with ease.

Seriously, I can't believe no one peels it from the non-stem side. It's so much easier. I just bite the non-stem side's end and peel it that way. The stem side is more inconsistent, and I don't like fucked up bananas, with the non-stem method it's always perfect.

As a kid, I always peeled from the "other end" because that's how my parents did it, and for a while I thought it was easier than peeling from the stem side. Then I started peeling from the stem side for some reason and I've gotten used to it so now stem side is easier. I think my mother now peels from the stem side too.

I was in this contest once in college (drinking game of course)

We had 5 girls hold unpeeled bananas stem side with their chin and neck (Resting perfectly between their boobies )and the guys had to peel and eat the banana with only their mouths.

Before the contest start I asked for clarification that the person who finished first just needed to eat the center of the banana, and they confirmed

When the contest started I ate the whole damn thing peeling and all..


Won the game


Gotta say it was bittersweet, the taste was awful but I had a face full of boobies and I won....
