I wanna see how many people get their games from steam...

Apparently people can't get a pirating joke....

Actually I can't PC game anymore so I don't really have to worry about it. Most recently it has been steam though.

Pirateing is spelled wrong. Drop the e - Pirating

And why add that option if you don't want people to pick it?

I buy most of my games through gogamer and eBay.

Steam - only if it's on sale
GoGamer - only if it's on sale (free/budget shipping is too slow compared to shipping from other vendors)
eBay - for used games that are overpriced if new (see: HAWX)
GameStop - if I want it right now and Steam doesn't have it

Otherwise:
Amazon
NewEgg

I haven't purchased a game in forever. All I ever play is DOTA with my age old copy of WC3, or WOW which I bought a loooong time ago but currently have my account on hiatus. Oh actually, I did buy WOTLK a while back, so it isn't quite 'forever'.

When I do buy, online or B&M depending on what is the cheapest.

Sure, but i'm pointing it out mainly because it looks funny spelled like that. I'm sure people understand the meaning, but it is spelled wrong..

The reason I replied was more to ask why you included that option if you didn't want people to click it?

Mainly Stores, but most of the Indie games I get are Downloads (not Steam).

Haven't bought any from a Store in quite some time though due my DRM boycott.

I picked piratEing because you said dont pick it.

I buy mainly from gameplay.co.uk or play.com, wherever i can get it the cheapest delivered to my door, might buy from steam, depends on the game/price really.

I will not use Steam for anything other than Valve games.

Double DRM and they take their sweet ass time getting patches out. I don't care of it's the fault of Steam or the studio, it is ridiculous to have to wait 2 weeks or more for a patch just because you bought the game off of Steam. When they get a different system for applying patches I'll reconsider.

To top it off, they usually charge more than picking it up at the store.

I picked pirating because you said not to.

On steam, I own HL, Orange Box, Bioshock, and that's it. I don't mind buying on steam if it's a lot cheaper, but at equal pricing, I'd rather buy it from the store for resellability.
