Get caller ID for Christ's sake, leave the poor kids alone. I'm sure any boy young enough gets really nervous when he calls a girl, even more nervous when her father answers, and pisses himself when he gets psycho-dad. You're messing with her social life, and she's gonna hate you for it.

Heh, heh, I hung up earlier on a little turd who called and asked if my daughter "was here". All the little tard had to do was identify himself and ask for my daughter. I would have handed the phone to her and everybody would have been happy.

The boys who want to talk to my daughter will learn. My daughter will teach them proper telephone etiquette so she can get their calls. ;)

Heh, heh, you kiddies amaze me. You think you are thinking or trying something new. Yep, it was new about 5,000 years ago.

In reality you boyz have it much easier. As a young man I was chased by mad fathers with shotguns, pitchforks and clawhammers. :Q Yep, I had more balls than you will ever have.

Most of the guys with balls that I knew never posted on ATOT about how to measure a woman

I am an asshole, as many of you know, and I have one primary requirement for any boy who wants to talk to my daughter, ie. when you call my daughter and I or any other member of my family answers the phone, you will identify yourself BEFORE asking to speak to my daughter. If you do not I, and the other members of my family, will hang up on you. Yes, we will be just as rude as you.
So if you have a son, and one of his friends calls asking for him, will you hang up on THEM if they don't identify themselves?

If you say Yes, you're just eccentric. if you say No, you have a bit of a double standard there.

Then I am eccentric. My son is older than my daughter and I have hung up on his friends, even when I recognized their voices, because they know the rules. I still, to this day, hang up on them if they do not identify themselves. Oh, my wife agrees with me wholeheartedly. We believe it is rude to not identify yourself when you call someone.

I hate to tell you this, but, no matter how many times you hang up on guys and make them follow your little procedure, one of them is eventually going to be fvcking your daughter. And I bet its the one who states his name first...

you are an idiot. seriously.

i completely agree with you happy puppy, and im 19 for the record.

you idiots that dont say your name first and think you are in the right need to rethink your approach to life basically. i call my girlfriends house all the time and i ALWAYS say "hey, this is mrdudeman..."

it isnt complicated...not only will the person know who it is and make them more comfortable, they can tell the person you are trying to reach who it is. if said person is busy, they can tell me or whoever else called to call back at a more convenient time.

i cant believe other people dont do this, and really cant believe people think it is stupid.

edit: and before you say it, yes, all of my friends called my house and stated their names first. it is common courtesy around here

prettier the face the less the body matters... like with natalie portman. not as attractive face can be boosted with a nice rack.

Look, sure. But that's not the only deciding factor. Someone's manner and general attitude and intelligence are also quite important. Being around morons for too long can be hazardous to my health.

i have to change this to "how do you measure a man" of course,
and i measure a man by his intelligence, chivalry, and sincerity.
all else will fall into place.

Do you measure the disireability of a woman by the size of her boobs?
no
Maybe her ass?
no
Perhaps you are a leg man and judge her by how lithe she is.
no
Some measure a woman by how often and how well she will put out.
not me
Some measure a woman by her combined attributes.
Yeah, that one
Women have admirable mental qualities as well.
agreed
How shallow are you?
I'm not
Cool.

BTW, what was the point of this thread? So that you could pat yourself on the back for being less shallow than a bunch of us internet geeks?

she "measures up" if she shows the slightest interest in me at all!

after that, red hair is a plus :)

Her smile, face, eyes, legs, and butt at first.
Then if I find her attractive and she is interested in me, I'll try to get to know her better.
For her personality to be interesting to me, she has to be different from me. I don't want to be with someone who is just like me. I want to be with someone different!

I measure a woman by her personality and THEN looks.I don't want somebody yaking all day long on the phone with her girlfiends and who never finished high school. I want a woman who's smart, INTELLIGENT, ineteresting ---- someone i can talk to about the world events and science discoveries..;)

people that say they are attracted to a woman's brain first are probably either a) fat b) ugly, or c) fugly.

It's in our nature to be attracted to a good looking woman. It's evolution baby.

I intially have to be physically attracted to the ladies, otherwise the chances of me approaching them are less. Looks are very subjective.
Then from there, its things like personality, and their similar interests, etc.

Nevermind, I just got it (This is titsmcgee, they made me change my name haha)

The thing is, you have to be physically attracted to the person...then personality and intelligence makes them either more attracted or absolutely repulsive. I've never heard anyone in a good relationship say that they don't think their SO is attractive, or that they are ONLY attracted to them because of personality. Thing is, sex is really important in a relationship, and you wont fvck someone you're not physically attracted to...
