I went to Toronto about a year ago, and I just brought my birth certificate and an ID. They didn't even check them, but I was on a bus.. so maybe it was different for me. They took one look at the box full of birth certificates, asked where we were going, how long we'd be in the country, where we were from.. and if everyone was an American citizen. After we went through, people starting making jokes about smuggling illegal aliens across the border...

Yeah, we we're expecting things to be much more thorough at the Fort Erie/Buffalo border
and were worried that my sister wouldn't be allowed in because she forgot her passport.
Turned out that as long as you held up something that *looked roughly* like an ID, you'd
get waived through.

Well that would be up to you, however it'd be pretty crappy for one of the hosts to bail
considering how far a lot of the participants are coming to meet you and everyone else.

dang, my school doesn't have spring break until March 1st. ill be at my home town then, which is about a 4 hr drive from toronto 🙁 going to miss it by 1 week.
