Accomodations

We've found out about a deal that allows visitors from outside Toronto to stay one night, get the next night free at Holiday Inn. The best location there to get is "TORONTO-ON KING (DOWNTOWN)", if you're up for it. Considering the current exchange rate you bastards have no excuse for not living the high life up here for a night or two.

My idea would be to get here on Friday afternoon/evening and take your fine time settling in, possible leaving Sunday afternoon/evening. Fake sickness and make a long weekend away from school out of it.


Siteseeing Ideas & Suggestions

My lovely girlfriend has readied a quick HTML page on possible ways to spend your time in Toronto for those of you new to the city.

Comfort Suites are nice and homey, come with microwaves, fridges, a sofa in a separate sitting room, etc., and the rates are great: $113.05Cad/night which is about $70USD/night. Be sure to ask for the Business Rate. You don't have to be a corporate traveller; just ask for business rate and you'll get it.

That's way over at Jarvis St. though. If the peeps are looking for a hotel, I am down there every day for work, and can recommend lots of hotels in the immediate vicinity.

If I got liquored up at a club, I wouldn't want to walk from Spadina & Richmond to Dundas and Jarvis... It would take at least 30 minutes.
