I guess I should also state that when you're on top of the food chain you don't really have to justify anything... I want a steak... I'm smarter than a cow... I win. Yum... More horse radish please.
What is this "top of the food chain" stuff? How do we know we're at the top of the food chain? Just because we have the power to keep stronger animals from attacking us? Having the power to do anything we want doesn't grant us the right to do anything we want. Just like we shouldn't go around taking advantage of those who are less intelligent than us. Back in the day whites could have argued that they're better than blacks and have the power to control blacks--therefore, why do they need to justify slavery?

Lions eat zebras because they are smarter and faster than them. I would think that would be all the justification you require.

we DO NEED to eat them
people who go 100% vegan need to take protien suplments, thats not natural

I don't need to justify anything.

God put us at the top of the food chain for a reason, it would be a disgrace if we didn't eat all those tasty animals that falls below us on the food chain.

That's not really true, IMO.

Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

I could see going vegetarian but vegan? Cheese? Eggs? Cream? Say goodbye to flavor!

Because I can.

Or why not?

Or because if you look at humans biology why is human anatomy built the way it is? We need meats as they provide essential amino acids among other benefits. You want to go vegan feel free, but that doesn't mean its any more "right" then I am.

Or why eat plants? They provide vital functions to the planet, restoring O2, providing the animals we "shouldn't" eat with food, etc so why eat plants?

I fail to see any logical reason as to why go vegan, there are far more effective ways to help animal rights (or whatever reason you have for it) then a single person going vegan. Congrats on saving the equivalent to 1 cow a year, 5 chickens, and some fish each year.

Biased sampling. What is that, boiled tofu? Who eats boiled tofu? I don't claim that these are the best examples of vegan cooking, but here are the first results on Google images:

Again, taste isn't really an ethical argument.

You have to work a lot harder, but you can get protein from plant sources. Vitamin B12 on the other hand only comes from animals.

I cry for all the bacteria and yeast that you daily destroy. At what level do you cease to care about living organisms?

All this talk about meat....I think I'm gonna go eat some baby cows for lunch today. Then eat half of it and throw the rest away.
