I don't do things I don't want to do. Pretty simple, really.

Other things you just learn to accept that your choices and decisions lead you to where you are right now and while you may not enjoy it, it's what you have to do to get by. The solution is to do something different and change, which is something not many people like to do.

Keep busy. Boredom makes me depressed.

I think I would be a really good bank robber because it's a very exciting profession with few boring parts.

Exactly, do what makes you happy. If things are making you angry and keeping you down then why are you doing them?

Yes, so "happy" you bought an xB.

coldcut, lager, coldcut, Lager, MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

I stay in a positive mood by reminding myself that there are people out there who are way worse off than me.

ass pennies

Actually, I will read Hitchhiker's guide. It always makes me feel better.

"It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination."

I look at rotten dot com with the realization that no matter how bad my life gets, someone else has it far, far worse.

Why do you need to stay in a positive mood all the time??

this is a good point. our happy feelings need to be balanced by sad/depressed feelings so that for the times you are happy, you can recall your sad times and thing about how much happier you are at the moment. if you're happy all the time, you'll eventually be desensitized, forget what being sad is, and happiness won't mean anything anymore cause you're never sad. like the whole 'relative deprivation' idea. or being on prozac.
