I work with a drama queen who has all kinds of problems, I just call her and listen to her problems for a few minutes and feel better about my pathetic life.

Life's hard knocks have taught me how stupid and irrelevant most day to day "problems" are.

Just remember, you'll live... and if you don't, you won't notice because you're dead.

I know a 75 year old man who is the happiest person I've ever met. Always has a wisecrack or a joke ready. Always has a smile on his face. I once asked him why he is always so happy. He told me "I take a look around at other people my age, who are sick or dying... how can I not be happy"? I will never forget that, it taught me a really big lesson. No matter how bad you think you have it, it doesn't even scratch the surface of the people lying in the cancer wards.

Its pretty much true what Chaotic42 says. You look at what is getting you down and chances are you can turn on the 11 o'clock news and see about 20 people who have it 100 times worse than you do. So if you are ever down turn on the news or put on National Geographic and see how little those people have and how much you have. Brightens my day. My daughter also can bring a smile to my face no matter how bad a mood I am in.

read comics and bash.org.

I find a laugh always helps.

That, and reading about other's stupidity, that ALWAYS works for me.

I have a 2 year old daughter that I have to rush home to watch after work every day. If anything in MY life has a purpose to make me happy, it is her. Every single day I wake up at 2 AM to go to a job I really have come to despise. I work my ass off and hate it , but I always have my little one on my mind. That is what keeps my mood positive 24/7/

That and thinking of monkeys shaving goats. ;>)

Peace
