How do you guys not tear your jeans???

OK, so I just ruined another pair of jeans. Every single pair I have owned for the last several years gets holes on the inner thighs right near my man-dude-area. I think it's because my legs are so big they almost rub together. Most of the pairs I have ruined aren't tight at all, they're regular fit or loose, and they're not ripping on a seem or anything. Khakis, chinos, jeans, all have the same thing happen to them. This pair that's ruined now was my favorite pair I ever owned, I was hoping they would last several years, instead here it is 7 months later and they're trashed. I literally have no long pants to wear in my entire house right now. Every one of them has the crotch completely blown out. It doesn't matter if I'm cutting, bulking, or whatever.

What do you guys do for jeans that don't explode after like 5 months?

I don't wear jeans at home, I always just wear shorts around the household. Not sure what the point of wearing jeans is... ( I have heating, and it's too damn hot with jeans anyway. )

I guess this is why I still have jeans from 5-6 years ago, though they aren't perfectly sized ( was a teen back then ) I can still wear them.

So my suggestion would be to keep a pair of jeans strictly for work, another pair strictly for doing something else, and wear something else in the household.

Stop buying skinny jeans

and I don't wear skinny jeans. My legs are immense, one of them is probably bigger than the waist on most skinny jeans

I have big legs and have had the same thing happen, albeit not as often: perhaps 2-3 pairs over the last 10 years. It happens in the same spot (inner thighs, just below the crotch) and like you, I'm not fat and I wear lose jeans from several different brands. To be fair though, I always buy fairly cheap jeans, which might be part of the reason. It hasn't happened in a while, which I contribute to never wearing jeans around the house, as I now change into something more comfortable (shorts or pajama pants) as soon as I get home. Other than that, nothing helps, which is unfortunate as it's especially tough to find jeans that fit when you have muscular legs, so seeing them get destroyed sucks.

Go to a place that will custom fit your jeans. That's what I had to do. There is a special cut if you have big thighs. Yeah they cost like 70 but they won't rip in a year. I've had mine for three years now and they are very comfy.

I've ripped a few pairs of good jeans...I guess I just don't mind. Just something you have to deal with in my mind...and I have pretty nice clothes, but it just gives me reason to get new jeans. 😛

Iota happened a few times...I wear 34" waist and a belt now.
