How Do You Eat Your Corn on the Cob?

I don't eat corn on the cob but most people I know go across I think

I put in order:

wooden stick inserted from bottom of corn on cob
lather it with butter
put a little mayo
sprinkle with parmesan cheese
add some hot mexican chile (red sauce)
squeeze fresh lemon juice across
and eat it, typewriter style

whats all this conflict about corn? I live in Illinois.... i think my area (dekalb county) is one of, if not the best corn producing areas of the nation. You need butter and it has to be lightly salted. the things on the ends are not a must, but they keeps your fingers clean. I cant wait till summer, i miss corn

I prefer around. Once I get a bite in its easier to just work around since you already have a starting place. Bitting in for the first time is dangerous. My fiancee hit me in the eye the other day with a juice missle. I rather not have the cob at all.
