How do you do it? the 9-5 thing for 40+ years?

Why do you think lots of white-collar types are doing drugs? They need something to get through the day.

You have a fixed income for the next 50+ years if you live in the corporate world. I don't see how you expect to break the mold unless you win the lottery, start your own business, or be in the right place at the right time (IPOs).

I love being a developer, which is more a 9-9 job, but it's just kinda funny when you think about it.

I think the days of being in one job or the same kind of job for 40+ years are over. Where I work, the company would most likely lay you off or "offer" you a package by the time you are 50.

I enjoy the thought of what I will be doing in a few weeks or months, etc. I plan vacations out long in advance so I have something to look forward to. 24 days until the Carribean :D
