How do you disappear?

I need to lay low for awhile and go unnoticed. I still need to stay in the U.S. though. Whats the best way to just disappear (w/o dying)? It's a long story. Any suggestions?
 
Two options: get lost amidst millions in a big city or head out to the middle of nowhere.....like maybe Montana?

Either way; handle everything in cash. Credit = paper trail.

I didn't see anyone get murdered. Nope, i did not murder/steal/rape anyone/animals/buildings either. Lets just say "they" found me..

seriously, a good way ot lay low would be to go to a verry rural area like hte midwest, maybe do a official name change, die the hair, change the facial hair around.

First of all, posting on a public message board means they can track your ip....
Second, even if you are in a public place, most have security cams....depending who is tracking you, you are leaving a trail right now.

Don't go to some abandoned place....since a stranger in a small town always draws attention. Head towards the city with a large population. If you are of a particular ethnicity (for example chinese)...head towards a chinatown. Strangers don't draw suspicion.
