How do you conceal money, on your person, when travelling...

I haven't been to a high-crime foreign country, but when I went to Europe I used one of those wallet things you hang around your neck. Keep it inside your shirt.

Or you could double-wrap it in condoms and... well, you may have to wait a couple of hours to make a withdrawal.

I carry only enough for what I'm doing that particular time out of the hotel/house...if I need to carry more than $50, then I usually put it in my shoe.

you leave your money in the hotel?

i always carry all my valuables and have a neck wallet thing for passport and such. I usually check with my bank before i go to see what i can do to get money while i am there. usually just use the atm and they put a note on my account as to where i am going and stuff to watch it for weird stuff.

Conversion of money to durable form (gems)? $40
Suppository? $15
Vaseline and Tylenol? $12

Explaining this to your wife she walks in on you starting a test? Priceless.

On a scale of "Probably inappropriate..." to "You're going to hell" I rate it a 4.

I wore a money belt when i traveled.

Keep in mind though that while it's good at preventing theft, if someone has a gun to your head and is set on robbing you, you might as well give them what they want. Passports and credit cards can be replaced, it's not worth losing your life over.

When I went to Rome, I had my wallet in my back pocket the whole time with at least 100+ euros. I went to Rome and survived.

Awesome destinations in your signature. Ever been to the Philippines?

Does the money belt go under your pants or over your pants but under an untucked shirt?

how about using a chain wallet so this way if they want to steal your wallet they would have to steal your pants too.

we split up any cash we have and i put most of the larger bills in my bra and keep like 5$ or 10$ in my wallet.
