I asked her about it and she brought up somethign about her kids.. Nothing about bf/husband.

So I am kinda confused.

well if you want to score big points and really want to do somethig with her, ask her about her kids. something is bound to come up about a husband/ex/loyal bf/how hard it is raising kids with no one around

DING DING DING... She mentions her kids to tell you what is important in her life. If she has an SO, asking about the kids will spark her to talk about her SO, if she doesn't have an SO, that will give you brownie points because it will show you are cool with kids. :) You better be cool with kids though because it is low to pretend.

Making it up as I go along...

"So who is the lucky guy that took you off the market?"

Weak, but flatters and answers the question.

Easiest way I've found it to assume she has one, then say something whenever a chance comes up. If someone talks about their SO, then you turn and ask her, so, doing anything with your boyfriend this weekend? Or something like that.

Then you just look like a douchebag when she says "Steve." You've now paid a mega compliment to some worthless bitch.

I am cool with kids. That is not a problem for me.

No one is talking to you. I don't think you understand how the forum works.

compliment her on whatever and then say "your husband\boyfriend is a very lucky guy".

if she's unhitched and interested in you she will clarify..

Had a thought... We could come up with the perfect way to do this, but it would all be for naught. Look where we are. This is ATOT. Most of the folks here, even with the perfect method, would take about 4 mths to get up the nerve to ask. By then, the opportunity was already missed. We are nerds!

If she doesnt have a ring on treat her like she's single. If she wants you to know about a boyfriend she will bring it up. But her telling you she has a boyfriend is irrelevant anyways. If she agrees to hang out or go out with you that is the only sign you need to follow.

Ask her out. If she says she has a bf, then you tell her that you didn't ask about her bf. (Sometimes they will look shocked when you say this.)
