My company recommends this format: "Hi, you have reached the [insert name] department. This is [your name]. How may I assist you?"

I use: "This is [your name]."

I have caller ID for internal calls so I just say "what's up <caller's name>"

"Yellow, yellow!"

Nah, depends on who's calling. Since it has caller ID.

If it's my wife I just answer "hello?"

If it's someone from work calling from their desk I'll answer "this is lokiju"

If it's an outside unknown number, I'll usually just send it to voicemail.

If it's a customer I usually say

"IT helpdesk Ryan speaking"

Where "IT Helpdesk" varies depending on the queue they called on as we answer for multiple services. (ex: "Voice services helpdesk" for 611, and so on)

If it's someone internal I'll usually just say "hey" or "hello". Today was kinda funny, someone was calling so I picked up "hey" but a customer called in at same time so it picked up that one. He thought he had the wrong number. I should of just played along with that. :p
