Hi guys
Just a thought that I noticed when I was looking at my x1950 series card, and the sapphire website. At no point in the software do I see my x1950xt actually identified as an XT. It only ever says x1950 series
I want the satisfaction that I paid out extra for an xt and it to be shown on bench marks etc.
Secondly... How do I actually get to see that my card actually have 48 pixel shader processers working? I ask this as it states on the Sapphire website (and I realise the problem with Asian tranlastions) "Up to 48 pixel shader processors".
Now the "upto" is the worry for me. Basically I wonder if they label cards that might only have 40/44 pixel shader processors working as XT's. How do i prove they are all set to work? I tried rivatuner expecting them to show up there as with Nvidia cards where you can turn them on an off... but no joy
Help
(Asking as I just RMA'd a awful x1950xt due to constant crashing at stock, and waiting for my new xt to turn up).
Matthew
