How do I file a police report?

lol...this is ridiculous!! 911 was busy!!

 

911 is never "busy" -- especially in a populated area like LA. Even if you are on hold and hang up, it's the law that the police have to come to your house to check if everything is ok.

I don't get into these AT squabbles, just pointing out fact.

Ok..I posted before, but now that I have gotten over the initial shock of how stupid this thread is, and the laughter over the whole situation, I must say this.

A) I've never heard of 911 being busy. If it was busy, wouldn't you call more than "several times"?

B) Why would you post this on a message board asking complete strangers for advice? Don't you have friends, or even a network of acquaintences that you could ask for information/help, with a matter as personal as this?

C) Online police report? Heh...

D) To all those who would gladly "beat the fvck out of this guy"..you only make yourself sound stupid and obnoxious. You are not going to beat the fvck out of anyone, especially someone you don't know and have no beef with.

I think thats all...i'm still in shock over the stupidity of the OP.

I'm not entirely sure what happened to HK. There was a hubub of some sorts, but my memory is foggy in the matter.

Busy signals are completely possible, especially on cellular phones.

There are tons of articles on Google, search for "911 busy signal los angeles."

First... Definitely file a police report.

Second... I would disagree with those who say you started it, he started it when he was shaking you & screaming/cursing you. You were defending yourself.

Third... You seriously need to re-evaluate the way you choose who to spend your time with. Your taste in guys is noticeably lacking.

Not exactly true about 911 being "NEVER BUSY"... I was in an accident the other day, I crushed this 77 y/o lady's Taurus with my truck and then she proceeded to get spun into oncoming traffic, and they needed the jaws of life to get her out. Furthermore, my g/f smacked her head into the windshield and had a concussion. I called 911, and they told me to "hold on" after I tell them I've been in an accident. FOUR MINUTES later, they came back on the phone and took the info, I was fvcking pissed. People could have died in that span of time... we're all just sitting in the middle of rush hour holiday traffic with blood and glass everywhere, it sucked major ass.

FYI, this was in South Jersey on xmas eve, so maybe they were busy b/c of the holiday, who knows. It's not often that a 77 y/o woman pulls out into 4 lanes of oncoming traffic doing 45-50mph (she said she didn't think I was "that close" *roll*)... I don't know why they put me on hold for that long, not to beat a dead horse, but it was quite shocking.
