I have recently added a larger & faster HDD (IBM ATA 100).
I would like to do a clean install of windows and the programs on the new HDD while continuing to use the old HDD until I have reinstalled everything to the new HDD.
I have so far placed the new HDD as a slave to the old HDD, reformatted & partitioned the new HDD.
My questions:
1-How do I do a clean install of the OS ( WIN ) on the new HDD while booting to the old HDD?
2-How do I then load my programs to the new HDD after a clean install of Win on the new HDD?
3-When the new HDD is setup like I want it, can I then change the jumpers to make the new HDD the master, & the old HDD the slave, and have everything run properly?
4-And if so, once I am satisfied that the new HDD runs properly, how do I then reformat the old HDD?
Thanks for the anticipated help.
