how do fat people just let themselves go?

it just boggles the mind, how people can just keep eating, not exercise, get fat and not try to change their lifestyle.

do they not realize how unhealthy and how unattractive it is?

half the people i see walking around in public have such grotesque bodies, men and women, young and not so young.

do they just not care? are they lazy? are they married?

edited from obese to fat to make it more controversial ;)
let me break it down for you.
stop eating so much and i bet you won't be as fat. if you don't put food into your mouth, you body cannot get fat on nothing. it's that simple.
stop bitching about how you don't have time to go to the gym or healthy food is more expensive than fast food. lamest excuses ever.
:)

Locked because the OP thought making his thread "more controversial" somehow contributes anything to the discussion, instead of inviting a lot of ad homonym attacks.

No, we're aware of all those things. We do it just to annoy self-righteous little pricks like you...:p

Because its fucking disgusting and since fat people haven't been banned from appearing in public areas, we have to put up with their absolutely horrid physical reality.

But then again, I'm talking about obese peeps.

It's very difficult to answer your question. Not everyone is the same with different metabolisms and ways how they process their food intake. I myself am in my 30's. Until I was 25 I was very thin even though my regular intake consisted of various fast foods. It caught up to me and I started putting on the pounds. Over the next 6-7 years, I tried losing weight with very minimal results. Anyway, I started the Atkins diet thing where I gave up on sugar, carbs and concentrated on vegetables, lean meats etc. I lost 55 lbs and dropped my weight down to 165lbs which is the ideal for my height. I can tell you that even though I eat carefully and make sure that I don't overdo it, I can still put on pounds. The trick is to eat less sugars and carbs with mild exercise.
In short, its easier for some people to eat a lot and not add on any weight whereas it may be very difficult for some people to actually eat a lot less and lose weight.

it is human nature to follow the path of least resistance and to put wants before needs.

the lazy among use succumb to those forces much easier that others because they have no will power and do not desire to fight against their wants.

large pizza, coke, pie and a internet full of porn to fap to daily, or healthy food, diet, exercise and work to actually meet a hot woman....most will choose the former because it is easier.

they probably don't care and are definitely lazy, oh and they are probably uneducated as to what is good/bad for you (or maybe aren't which again just makes them lazy and not care).

What are your definitions of "overweight" and "so far beyond that"?

I hear a lot of women say depression, emotional gluttony or something to that effect. Maybe it's true. Who knows?

Which is what threshold? I'm "beyond overweight" by nearly anyone's definition, but I've never known anything else, so how is it "affecting my daily life"?
